What began as a simple family slideshow…

has become a message for humanity.

As the onslaught of the 2023 invasion of Gaza ensued, a random slideshow of Monear’s trip in 2021 to his family’s homeland of Gaza was auto-generated on his iPhone’s photo album…

That slideshow alone was enough to bring tears to all who watched.

  • and these were your ancestors?

  • And this was your life?

As the world witnesses the horrors of this genocide continuing to unfold, and while the media remains silent about the suffering of the Palestinian people…It soon became an obligation for Monear to produce this film.

In fact, it was his duty to share truth about the beautiful people of Gaza.

This is not just a documentary.

This is an invitation for every privileged person to use their voice.

This is your reminder that behind the headlines and statistics…There are real lives – lives that have been tormented by struggle, loss, and unimaginable agony for decades.

    New father, amazing graphic designer, and is fluent in English, hopes to travel abroad.

    Recent high-school graduate, near the top of his class. Speaks English well, and hopes to own a real estate business.

    Older siblings of Ramadan, they used to love taking their family out to the cafe’s on the beach.

    Talented artist, videographer, and photographer.
    His murals covered the walls of our Grandfathers home…reduced to rubble from Israeli F16’s.

    26 Years old
    Operated our family farm, recently married and had his first child only a month prior to this genocide.

    Runs his father’s bakery, along with his 2 brothers. Spends his time-off going to the pool and playing volleyball with his friends

    Extremely talented at baking.
    Always has the brightest smile on his face.
    Loves kittens.

    Helps operate the family bakery.
    Incredibly funny guy
    Loves going out for drives by the beach.

    Pictured here, are the young men of Gaza. Many of them I met for the first time in 2021…however within the short span of my trip, we all had become brothers. They were some of the most honorable men I’ve ever met in my life.
